NUJ Mourns Galaxy TV Cameraman, Andrew Zangina

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: With a heavy heart, the Kaduna State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ commiserates with the immediate family of our dear late amiable and ever joking colleague and friend Andrew Zangina over his demise.

In a statement issued and signed by the council Secretary, Comrade Gambo Santos Sanga describes the sudden demise of Mr Andrew Zangina as a collosal loss to the union and the entire media family in kaduna State and the country as a whole.

The statement eulogises the invaluable sacrifices and contributions of late Andrew Zangina towards national cohesion and the overall unity of members of the pen profession in kaduna State and indeed Nigeria.

The statement further describes the deceased as a fantastic gentleman, fearless and goal oriented colleague who sacrifices his time, energy and resources towards the promotion of good governance and the emancipation of the downtrodden in the society.

The kaduna State Council of NUJ however,prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased soul while urging the kaduna State government to assist the family with a view to ameliorating their suffering.

The kaduna State Council of NUJ is further appealing for a scholarship scheme for the children of the deceased while also imploring the amiable and goal oriented Governor of the state,Sen Uba Sani CON to consider engaging the widow of the departed colleague with a job towards providing succour to the family with immediate effect.

We pray for God Almighty to rest the soul of our dear departed colleague in peace.
