..Says,he’s was a Man Of Peace

The Middle belt Forum,Kaduna, has expressed shock over the killing of the District Head of Mazaki and his son in Atyap Chiefdom of Zangon-Kataf local government, Kaduna state on Tuesday by unknown gunmen.

The Forum,pained by dastardly act said the deceased was an advocate of peace who cared for the development of his community and justice for both natives and non- natives in his domain.

In a statement issued by the Secretary, Mr John Haruna,and made available to Newsmen on Tuesday, the forum,called for an independent judicial panel of inquiry to be set up by government to unravel the killers and punishment seen meted on them,saying

” The death of the district head of Mazaki in Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon Kataf LGA, Mr Haruna Kuye and his teenage son, Destiny Kuye in the early hour on 17/11/2020 came to us as a huge shock and brought feeling of grave loss,as we reminisce about his active participation with the Forum and other organizations to emancipate ethnic nationalities from the bandage Of injustice

“As an advocate for peace and development, the former district head never left anyone in doubt of his commitment to the region development and rallying people accross ethnic, religious divide for the common good.

“Our Forum is profoundly pained by the death of Mr Haruna Kuye who was unwavering towards ensuring a new dawn for his community that was and still under the yoke underdevelopment and forces of injustice .In death, we are proud of his indelible and inspiring records as a consummate intellectual and illustrious Son of the Middle Belt Region.

“The late district head was a man of peace who cared for the wellbeing of his constituency both natives and non–natives.we also want to note with sadness the murder of Albarka Adu’a who was killed by gunmen last Saturday during a kidnapped raid at maraban Kajuru, Kajuru LGA,13 Pearsos were killed between last Sunday and Monday in cool blood by outlaws who seems to be making mockery of the State.

“During this period of grief, our prayers and.thoughts are with the members of his immediate family as we call on Almighty God to grant them fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“The Forum wishes to express it condolences to the family, and the community, Atyap Chiefdom, Zangon–Kataf LGA and the entire Southern Kaduna expecially the SOKAPU President, Hon Jonathan Asake and his entire team over this tragic loss. we pray to God to console them over the death of this distinguished and erudite son of the Middle Belt Region grant eternal repose to them all.

“We appeal to President Buhari and Governor Nasir El–Rufai to immediately set up an independent Judicial panel of enquiry to unearthed circumstances under which these killing were perpetrated with the intention of bringing to book all those responsible for this unprovoked murders.

“The Forum also pleads with the Governor to make public the outcome of the panels investigation and ensure that those found guilty are punished so as to serve as deterrent to others.

“At this juncture, we still call on the Federal government,Kaduna State Government, Local government Authorities and other good and BC Spirited individuals to come to the assistance of the thousands of IDP’s scattered all over Southern Kaduna. most of them are right now living under dehumanize conditions. we also call on International community, NGO’s to show great interest in coming to the AIDS of this our brothers and Sisters.” The statement added
