Federal Lawmaker,Gabriel Begins Payment Of Scholarship To 220 Selected Candidates

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA -The member representing Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Gabriel Haar Zock has commence payment of scholarship to 220 shortlisted candidates schooling at different tertiary Institutions cut across the country.

The Federal lawmaker noted that the scholarship target “Hon. Gabriel Saleh Zock Scholarship Scheme” was aimed to amiliorate the plights of his Constituents in pursuant of academic excellence and in fulfilment of his campaign promises to his people.

It would be recalled that the 220 beneficiaries were shortlisted from Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency which he represents at the National Assembly.

The young dogged politician who spoke to LEADERSHIP at the Kaduna State University during the commencement of the payment yesterday, said the disbursement of the scholarships would encourage parents to send their children to school, adding that about 220 students benefited from the scholarship scheme.

According to him, more students will still benefit from this year’s scholarship scheme, adding that he has been able to also sponsor exceptional laudable projects in his Constituency

He urged the beneficiaries to use the funds given to them to buy books and materials that would help them in their studies.

He prayed that through his scheme, President, Governors, Ministers, Senators would be raised in Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency.

” We’ll continue in this direction in sponsoring those who cannot afford to pay School fees till the end of their academics.

Cross section of the beneficiaries commended the Legislator for his examplary leadership, saying the scholarship would ease their burden while in school, praying that they’re indebted for what his doing.
