Amalgamated Atiku Support Group (AASG) has resolved to work in unison in actualizing president ambition of the former Vice President, saying Nigeria would be salvaged by Atiku if elected in 2023.

Director General of the Group, Hon. Fabiyi Oladimeji lamented what he described as near absence of governance in the country, saying Nigeria was on the verge of total collapse with barrage of problems overwhelming law abiding citizens.

Oladimeji made it known during the inauguration of the state and local government executive of Amalgamated Atiku Support Group (AASG) in kaduna.

He stated that Nigeria had never had it this bad in its entire existence since independence, noting that rising insecurity with people killed daily in high numbers, battered economy with naira in its lowest value and corruption at its peak with government paying lip service, assuring that all the ineptitudes in governance would be a thing of the past with Atiku as President in 2023.

Speaking in a similar vein, Chairman of the occasion, Abubakar Mustapha said the ruling APC had taken the country backward, explaining that the present retrogression felt in virtually every aspect of governance needed an individual with experience in public and private enterprise.

He added that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as an astute and successful businessman possessed all the required qualities needed to bring the country from the current quagmires he said APC had plunged it into.

” As a two term Vice President, Atiku was instrumental to the growth we experienced in our economy where he successfully oversaw privatization programme of Obasanjo administration.

” The country recorded huge economic growth, stable naira, resucitation of our local manufacturing industries, lasting peace and sustainable security across the country were some landmarks of ObJ / Atiku’s administration.

” The country was respected among comity of friends and international organizations between 1999 and 2007 because of our high sense of direction and exemplary leadership at the centre.

” It is high time we brought back the past glory and made the nostalgia a reality come 2019 by ensuring that Atiku becomes our next president, ” Mustapha said.

Earlier in his welcome address, Hon. Adamu Dattijo, the Kaduna State Coordinator of the group, while expressing optimism in triumph of Atiku at next presidential poll in 2023, said all is set to deliver the state for Atiku.

According to him, the group had already activated structures and machineries across 23 local government in Kaduna State for grassroot mobilization for Turakin Adamawa Political movement.

He noted that APC was already confused and jittery because of an imminent defeat he said the party would suffer in the forthcoming polls .

He attributed hardship experienced across the country to absence of precise economic blueprint by the present administration which he said lacked direction, technocrats and patriotic citizens who should have put interests of the masses above personal gains.

Dattijo urged Nigerians to vote out APC at all levels, assuring that casting their votes for Atiku would redeem the country and ensure a brighter tomorrow for present and incoming generations.
