Kaduna NUJ Inaugurates Invicta FM Chapel, Swears In Ango Bally-Led Pioneer Executives.

NEWSDAILLYNIGERIA– The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kaduna State Council, on Wednesday inaugurated the NUJ, Invicta FM Chapel and swears in the pioneer executive members of the chapel.

Chairman of State Council, Hajiya Asama’u Yawo Halilu who was represented by the State Secretary, Gambo Santos Sanga, while swearing in the Executive Committee of lnvicta F M Chapel, expressed satisfaction with its composition which he said cuts across gender, ethnicity and religion.

He assured the new leadership of a cordial working relationship moving forward, after which he administered them with the oath of office.

Speaking on behalf of the Board and Management team of Invicta FM, the General Manager, Mr. Toyin Alabi who enjoined the newly sworn in executives to live up to the expectations of a union, assured of a cordial Management-union working relationship.

He thanked the Kaduna State NUJ for honoring the invitation to inaugurate Invicta FM chapel.

Alabi who also commended the efforts of lnvicta FM Head of News, Mr. Didam Laah for making the inauguration of the Chapel come through, which he noted was long overdue, added that ” the inauguration of Invicta NUJ chapel is timely, especially as we are at the eve of a very critical event which is the 2023 elections”.

Giving his first inaugural speech, the pioneer Chairman, NUJ Invicta FM Chapel, Mr. Ango Bally promised to discharge his duties to better the lot of the workers towards ensuring dignity of labour.

While calling on other executive members to give him maximum support to move NUJ Invicta chapel forward, he also charged them to be up and doing in discharging their duties.

Ango Bally who is also Chairman, Southern Kaduna Journalists Forum, assured the state NUJ leadership of continuous collaboration for effective discharge of union affairs. He is also a one time Financial Secretary of NUJ, New Nigerian Newspapers, NNN, Chapel.

The sworn in executive members of NUJ Invicta chapel are; Chairman- Ango Bally, Vice chairman- Kevin Madu, Secretary – Rilwan Jibril, Assistant Secretary – Anthony Samuel, Financial Secretary – Amen J. Kantyok, Treasurer- Bilkisu Abubakar and Auditor – Faisal Ridwan.
