2023 Election Is About Character, Competence, Not Religion, Tribe- Obi

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Labour Party, (LP) Presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has said the 2023 election would be about character and competence of the leadership and not about religion or tribe.

He lamented the state of the nation, due to bad leadership hence, the need to get the right leadership to fix the country come 2023 election.

 Obi made this known Monday, in Lagos at the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association Annual General Conference, NBA-AGC.

According to him,  Nigeria’s situation has gotten so messed up that the 2023 election would not be about religion or tribe but about who has the character and competence to deliver the country from its current mess.

“Nigeria is in a mess. We got here simply because of the accumulative effect of bad leadership. 

“The coming election is not about tribe or religion but about character and competence. We need a bold transition from a highly secured state to a highly secured state.” he said.
