NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The governorship candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in Kaduna state, Hon Jonathan Asake has called for unity among the different ethnic and cultural groups in the state.

He noted how the state is so endowed with diverse ethnic and cultural groups, which is supposed to be her strength for greatness, if harnessed properly.

The LP governorship candidate through a statement by his Media Assistant, James Swam, made the call during a Cultural Day celebration at the first ECWA Church, Television, Kaduna on Sunday.

He said Kaduna is blessed with many ethnic groups, beautiful cultures and traditions that ought to be a source of strength.

According to him “when these diversity is brought together and used positively, we will achieve a lot in the state.”

He urged for understanding between tribes and religions, saying they must forgo those things that made them different and express those that unite them for the common good of everyone.

The governorship candidate therefore salute the courage of the church for bringing its members together to celebrate their cultures.
