NEWSDAILYNIGERIA:The Labour Party governorship candidate in Kaduna State, Hon. Jonathan Asake, has expressed deep shock over the death of a chieftain of the party in the state, Lawal Garba, in a ghastly motor accident on Monday night along the Kaduna-Zaria highway.

Asake said the death of Garba, who was the party’s Zonal chairman in Zone one, comprising eight local governments, would be missed for his commitment and hard work which has seen the party received wide acceptance in the zone.

The governorship candidate in a press statement signed by his media aide, James Swam, and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday, stated that “Lawal Garba will be missed by all of us because he has left a vacuum in the Labour party.”

The deceased and others were returning to Zaria after Peter Obi’s interactive session with the northern elders committee who invited all presidential candidates to explain their blueprint for the region when the accident occurred.
