Suck Your Wife’s Breasts During Pregnancy- Expert Advises Men

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Coordinator of Primary Health Centre, Uyo, Akwa- Ibom State, Mrs Peace Essien, has advised Married Men to suck their wives’ breasts during pregnancy.

Mrs Essien, gave the advice in Uyo, as part of activities for the celebration of World Breast feeding day.

She explained that men who suck their pregnant wives breasts make it easier for the women to breast feed their babies.

According to her, in the process of sucking pregnant women breasts, it makes the pores of the nipples to open for free flow of breast milk.

And for those husbands that may find sucking of breasts difficult, Esien advised such men to use their fingers on the nipples to make them open.

She appealed to religious leaders and community leaders to add their voices to the practice of Exclusive Breastfeeding.

She explained further on the imperative of breastfeeding, which include eating a balanced diet

“In promoting breastfeeding, you have to first all agree on ideal things, particularly health education. This involves preparing the woman mentally and physically for feeding.

“Physically, the mother needs to eat well, stimulate the nipples.

“This is because in some women when pregnant, the nipples become enlarged and when the baby wants to put the nipples in the mouth if it is closed, the baby would find it difficult to suck.

“Effective breastfeeding will make the baby to grow well physically and mentally without water.

“Breastfeeding stimulates the brain, the nutrient in it boosts the immune system and enhance growth of other parts of the body in a baby,” she added.
