SCIO Distributes Blankets, Sweaters To Orphans In Kaduna

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Sabil Charitable International Organization, (SCIO) has distributed sweaters and blankets to Orphans and the vulnerable in Kaduna state.

The gesture by the organization is to cushion the harsh effect of the hamattan season on the poor and needy children in the state.

According to the group, the items were distributed to Orphanages in Malali, Tirkaniya, Nariya and to pupils, of Human Development Foundation of Nigeria,( HDFN) at Kwato Road Ungwan Rimi.

Speaking the President, SCIO, Hajiya Halimatu Sadiya Abdu narrated the aim of the distribution and other past palliatives distribution to widows and less privileged women in the state.

Adding that, other interventions include skills empowerment and Start- Ups to enable them actualize the acquired skills and become economically independent .

She further said, one of the sister Organizations like the Da’wah group were also given similar items by Sabil to distribute to the less privileged in their various communities.

Responding to the kind gesture of Sabil, a BoT member of the HDFN school Hajiya Zulai Fari noted that the Foundation has been in partnership for progress with Sabil for about 30years and called on other spirited groups and organizations to imbibe and emulate such humanitarian services.
