Gowon Pays Condolence Visit To Attah Igala Over Sister’s Death

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The House of Representatives Member, representing the good people of Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna (IJN), has paid a condolence visit to Attah of Igala, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa over the sadden death of his sister, Her Royal Highness, Memuna Opaluwa Oguche-Akpa, daughter and ground daughter.

Hon. Gowon who was accompanied by the Caretaker Chairman of Dekina Local Government, Hon. Urah Ikagini, the Onu Iyale, HRH Alhaji Drisu Wada Akogu, and fellow traditional rulers from Iyale ward and other prominent personalities.

During the visit, they expressed their sadness over the unduly death of the Royal Highness, Memuna Opaluwa Oguche-Akpa who was set ablaze by yet to be identify persons; including one of her daughter and ground daughter.

Hon. Haruna and other entourage who sympathized with the Royal Majesty, urged him and pray God to give him and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost while asking God to grant the departed souls eternal peace.

Responding, His Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, thanked them for their visit and wish them farewell.
