…Calls For Peaceful Coexistence Amongst Nigerians

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Chairman of the youth wing, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Kaduna State chapter, has congratulated christian faithful on the peaceful celebration of Easter.

Ambassador Sunday Tanko Aliyu, who is the Kaduna State youth CAN Chairman of the association, said that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ had proven that there’s hope after for all mankind.

He added that Nigerians must be hopeful of a better future despite the challenges being witnessed in the country.

“the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ had given us hope as Christians that we that believe in him will have eternal life, ” he said.

Adding that” as a country there’s need for us to draw closer to God so that we can surmount our challenges as well as build a better country.”

While commiserating with the people of Plateau and Benue state, on wanton killings that occurred, the youth CAN Chairman called for tolerance not just between ethnic groups but all Nigerians.

” it’s unfortunate that this killings are happening in the country especially between ethnic groups. We should first remember that we are human beings before we our tribes and religion, hence we need to treat each other as we wished to be treated,” he said.

He also called on youths in the country to embrace peace and coexist as one in order to build the country.

He also called on religious, political and opinion leaders to prioritize the unity of the people in all they do for the growth and development of the nation.

Lastly, Ambassador Sunday Tanko Aliyu, prayed for the continued peaceful coexistence of not just the people of Kaduna State, but the nation and world general.
