Coalition: Reject Elrufai’s Utopian Postulations – Group Tells Nigerians

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: A Coalition of Gbagyi Nationalities in Kaduna State has called on Nigerians to reject and ignore Ex- Governor Elrufai’s ‘utopian postulations and machinations in the guise of selfish political coalition’.

The group said the Gbagyi nation and the middle- Belt will never be part of any coalition orchestrated by Mal Nasir Elrufai and his cohorts against President Tinubu.

The coalition also said Elrufai ongoing opposition against President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani APC administrations are hypocritical and criminal because he has lost out in ministerial appointment, saying enough of his deceit.

Addressing a press briefing at Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press centre, Kaduna on Monday, the Chairman of the group, Mr Benjamin Chayinta George, further noted that they decided to exposed Elrufai based on his unwarranted attacks on the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is based on hypocrisy . “Ask yourself, if he were appointed Minister, will he be attacking Tinubu or be leading a coalition against him ? The answer is capital NO.”

The group also noted that, they have discovered that since Nasir Elrufai lost ministerial appointment in President Tinubu’s cabinet, he has remained near-insane, inconsolable, unleashing verbal attacks on Tinubu’s administration because he has lost out in the power game.

The group then drew public attention that, under Elrufai Kaduna citizens have suffered strenuous destruction under his emperor-like rule when he held sway as the Governor.

“We are raising the alarm now, that if allowed to continue on this lane of attacks, the polity would be overheated and our democracy threatened,ball simply because he was not appointed Minister.

“It is against this background that, Elrufai is a hypocrite and a political hanky-panky who doesn’t have any moral standing to come out and speak against the President, when he was more of an dictatorial and fascist leader during his days as Governor.
Mr George further said this fellow was someone who destroyed our houses without sensibility to the feelings of the affected persons; he relieved civil servants of their appointments without gratuity nor pensions; he orchestrated desecration of NUJ secretariat; he demolished 22 markets, which are never rebuilt to date, among other atrocities he committed without empathy or mercy on the citizens.”

The Gbagyi Group also admitted that Elrufai has only marginalized and discriminated against southern Kaduna people, but unleashed a reign of terror on all segments of the society in the state, starting from his assumed root in Zaria, where he demolished personal residences at Alhudahuda College.

“This same Elrufai sacked our people, sidelined us out of government for complete 8 years without recourse to principles of fairness and justice and has suddenly become a champion for masses. How comes?” he asked.

The Group then reminded Nigerians that it’s needless to say Elrufai was a civilian ruler who didn’t have sympathy for the poor and masses and he is only making noise because he has fallen out of favour for a ministerial appointment under President Tinubu, hence he should be ignored.

The Gbagyi Youths spokesman then said Elrufai’s current move to mobilise electorates he had despised and terrorised in the past, to unseat President Tinubu in 2027 as a revenge for losing ministerial position is dead on arrival.

“We urged the good people of Kaduna and Nigeria to ignore and reject his utopian postulations and evil machinations under guise of a selfish political coalition because he an evil man with high sense of capitalist orientation against the masses.”
