NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Southern Kaduna Journalists Forum ( SKJF) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the appointment of Lydia Kalat Musa as the new Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority ( OGFZA) board Chair.

In a statement signed by the Chairman, Ango Bally, on Monday, the forum lauded the inclusive disposition of the appointment, and while wishing her the best urged the appointee to make the zone, state and nation proud.

” The Southern Kaduna Journalists’ Forum (SKJF) wish to applaud and extend its unreserved appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Ms Lydia Kalat Musa as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA).

” The Forum views this appointment as a significant and commendable gesture of inclusion, particularly for Southern Kaduna and other historically marginalised regions. It reflects a welcome shift towards equitable representation under the leadership of President Tinubu, fulfilling a long-standing aspiration for national integration.

” Ms Musa, a native of Kaduna State, is a highly competent and dedicated professional, widely respected for her exceptional acumen in public administration and policy leadership in the oil and gas sector. Her appointment is not only well-deserved but also strategic in advancing the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the federal government’s through her stewardship at OGFZA.

” She brings to the table a sharp intellect, sound judgement, and the visionary capacity to effectively lead the Authority’s strategic mandate of attracting investment, enhancing operational efficiency, and accelerating the development of Nigeria’s oil and gas free zones.
