Stakeholders Laud Danbo International Schools’ 2026 Graduations

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Stakeholders have commended Danbo International Schools for successful graduation ceremonies across four of their reputable sections.

​The commendation was made during the 2026 Danbo College graduation ceremony, which featured awards and recognition for deserving outgoing students.

The event which held on Saturday attracted parents, friends, well-wishers, dignitaries. the polical class and captains of industry among others.,

Speaking to our reporter shortly after the event, ​Dr. Ismail Mohammed (Chairman, 2026 Danbo College Graduation Ceremony ) expressed gratitude to the Almighty and pride in seeing the results of investments in the children’s education.

He urged the 2026 graduates to maintain integrity, honesty, and the moral lessons instilled in them, noting that they carry a legacy that requires strong standards to uphold. He advised them to boldly pursue their careers and studies to make a positive impact on the country and humanity.

​Dr. Mohammed also encouraged parents to remain committed to Danbo International, keep their trust, continue investing in their children’s education, be patient, and keep them in daily prayers. He added that he was deeply impressed by the school, noting that his daughter (who serves as the head girl) and his other children have been performing exceptionally well.

Reflecting on the Schools’ graduation milestones, the Administrator, Mrs Jonathan Kehinde said, “It feels right. It feels good to see our children grow from kindergarten and early years, through primary, and into college. We are super excited to see them transform into confident young adults ready to conquer and rule their world, because we have given them the foundation needed to succeed in any endeavor.”

​She emphasized that students are trained not just for local society, but for the global stage: “These are children who communicate well, collaborate well, and are digital-savvy. Thanks to the platform provided by the board of directors and the Executive Director, they are well-rounded.”

​Highlighting the school’s 45-year history of academic excellence, she noted that Danbo focuses on the “total child”—emphasizing social and emotional intelligence. She introduced the newly adopted “Leader in Me” curriculum, designed to teach young learners empathy, selflessness, proactivity, and critical thinking so they can become effective problem solvers.

​Regarding the student awards/ recognitions, she explained, “All of them succeeded together. We introduced awards just to give them a little push. The world is about collaboration, not just competition, but a bit of competition encourages them to know there is always a reward for extra effort.”

Mr. Pius Gabriel, commended the graduates, noting that while the world outside Danbo is tough, the training provided will enable them to soar like eagles.

He highlighted Danbo’s 45-year legacy, experienced teachers, and top-tier curriculum, while inviting parents to enroll their children to experience similar success.

He strongly encouraged parents to enroll their children in Danbo for its unique blend of life lessons, leadership skills, and academics.

Mr. Johnson Elukpo (PTA Chairman):
Having spent 15 years with children passing through the nursery, primary, and college sections, congratulated the graduating set—who tagged their class “Legado” (meaning legacy).

He praised Danbo for its excellence in character molding and commended the strong, open relationship between parents and the school administration in resolving issues collaboratively.

​Mrs. Walter Lois Anyalewechi (Head of Primary Section, expressed fulfillment regarding the speech and prize-giving day, noting that the primary section’s focus for the year was leadership and innovation.

The event featured a special “Best Dad in the World” award segment, where children presented certificates to their fathers as lead innovators in the home, alongside traditional academic, behavioral, and sports awards.

Mrs. Joyce Nyem (Head of School, Early Years) explained that formal graduations for early years are no longer held due to government regulations, She highlighted that the section instead celebrated children for attaining key developmental milestones and demonstrating learning across various areas. She also congratulated the college graduates on a beautiful ceremony.

Dr. Keku (Head of Studies, Danbo Senior Secondary College) describing the college graduation as colorful and impactful, noted the impressive turnout of dignitaries, including captains of industry, politicians, academicians, and the national director of INEC.

He praised the professional, well-trained teachers and recommended Danbo Schools to parents across Kaduna and Nigeria.

​Mr. Joseph Onyibe (Outgoing Head Boy) expressed mixed emotions of joy and sorrow, having spent his entire life growing up with his school family. He appreciated winning multiple accolades—including the Head Boy Award, Most Supportive Student, Best in Mathematics, Best in Further Mathematics, and Best in Chemistry—while congratulating his fellow award recipients.

​Michelle Nathaniel (Outgoing Sports Prefect), reflecting on her journey, described Danbo as her second home and a place that builds legends rather than just graduates. She praised the standard British-Nigerian curriculum and language offerings (such as French and Hausa), encouraging her juniors to embrace leadership and charisma from an early age.

​Anita Momoh (Representative, DAISSA – Old Students Association) congratulated the graduates, advising them to stay calm and confident as they navigate the outside world. She highlighted DAISSA as a supportive family network committed to preserving the school’s legacy.

​Mr. Dogo Sunday Gyet (Business Development Manager / Quality Assurance & Marketing), describing the event as super fantastic and well-attended, encouraged parents to enroll their children in Danbo International Schools, assuring them that every child who passes through the institution experiences positive transformation.
