NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: They don’t vote for endless explanations, political theatrics, photo opportunities, or cosmetic achievements. They vote for good roads, reliable electricity, security, protection of lives and property, affordable food and commodities, and accessible, quality healthcare.

No amount of propaganda can substitute for performance. No speeches, slogans, ceremonies, or media spectacles can conceal the hardship citizens endure when governance fails to deliver.

Citizens are not obligated to applaud government for doing the bare minimum. Leadership must be judged by outcomes, not intentions, excuses, or political cosmetics.

The people deserve a government that works, delivers, protects, and improves their standard of living.

And when leaders fail to deliver, the ballot box remains the most powerful instrument through which citizens can demand accountability.

Governance is not a theatre. Public office is not a reward. A political mandate is a contract with the people, and that contract must be measured by results.
