Chief Ochigbo Becomes New AD’ IDOMA VII Of Idoma Community Kaduna

Chief Gabriel Ochigbo, (JP,CPA) has been installed as the seventh Leader of the Idoma Community,(ADA IDOMA VII) in Kaduna State.

The installation ceremony held recently in Kaduna,attracted the who is who in ldoma nation,traditional, religious and political leaders,friends and wellwishers in their large numbers among others.

Speaking to Newsdailynigeria,the New AD’IDOMA VII,Chief Gabriel Ochigbo,JP,CPA,appreciated God for a day like this, said the event would have been done earlier saying,

“I am supposed to be installed on 25th April,2020, but because of the Covid-19 lockdown, but we thank God it is done now and has ended successfully

“I feel happy and highly honoured with special appreciation to the IDOMA community in Kaduna, for the teeming support they gave to me that made the whole event come to a huge success; am grateful to them am also Most grateful to God Almighty, who made it end well”

According to him,his call to his people is that of support and cooperation “The call to my people always is that of Cooperation; l spent years in Kaduna, well over 50 years and all I have been urging them in Church,the community and others is to work as a team

“and I will continue to call for that cooperation to work as a team to support the government in all its plans for the betterment of the community and entire populace”

He further said “we on our part, we will listen to the government and come back and tell our people some of the DOs. and DON’ts of government, because the success of every government is team work like the saying ‘a tree cannot make a forest’

” we support them and they too should support us, so that, we can work together,hand in hand in all the programmes of government so that we can see the success of it all and that’s exactly what I urge my people to do.

He hinted that his emergence to paddle the leadership of Idoma people in Kaduna was unanimous as he enjoyed 100% support by his people through the installation ceremony adding “I hope and pray that I will not let them down.I am going to work with them within the eyes of our people and the government of Kaduna state”

According to him,the Idoma nation and people have established formations in the 19 Northern states and with over 3 million population in Kaduna state,with leaders from across local governments,districts, family meetings, church/Christian organizations,Muslims and Non- Christian/Muslim alike;with a some of them in attendance

Describing further, how it feels,to be honoured by his Kits and kins and welll wishers,”the event is a huge success, especially,seeing the ‘mammoth crowd’ we started peacefully and ended peacefully, while observing the Covid-19 protocols”he added

Describing the New AD’ IDOMA VII KADUNA, the chairman of the occasion and chairman of Northern ldoma chiefs, Chief Barrister Leo Agbo Adejoh JP,said, “he is a highly committed Christian and a blessing to the Idoma nation “infact he’s a special gift that God has given not only the Idoma people, but Kaduna state

Adding that” he was President of SS Peter &Paul ldoma Catholic Community of the entire ldoma and this Man is wonderful and he even motivated some of us to come into the fold;so he’s the kind of Man that we can count on any time”

According to him,his expectations on the new leader are high ” l expect higher expectations and I don’t have any doubts,he has the capability to meet up to all the requirements of the entire Idoma people; so I count much on him”

Speaking further,he called on the Idoma people saying “l implore all the Idoma people to come behind him,because, One thing is to install a king and another is to see to the success of the King;so with the knowledge I have with ldoma people, i have no doubt that he will not disappoint them,success is on their way” he reiterated
