Constitution Review: Kaduna To Host Zonal Public Hearing On Saturday

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA; Kaduna State is set to host the public hearing of the North West zone of the House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review on Saturday, as part of the ongoing amendment of the 1999 Constitution.

In a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa on Friday, the Saturday’s hearing will cover the northern zones.

The statement disclosed that the Kaduna zonal hearing will hold at the conference hall of Hassan Usman Katsina House (State House) Kawo, and delegates of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina States are expected to make presentations at the event.

The statement further said, Governor Uba Sani is expected to be the Chief Host of the occasion and will give the opening remarks, while the Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yusuf Liman will make presentation on behalf of the state.

The government urged ‘’professional bodies, civil society organisations, labour unions as well as the general public to grace the occasion and make inputs on this important epoch-making event.’’
