Kaduna:Gunmen lnvade FAAN Quarters,Abduct Over 11 Persons

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA– Over 11 persons have been alleged to be abducted by armed men in an fresh attack on the residence of staffers of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria,(FAAN) today in Kaduna.

Radio Nigeria reports that Persons suspected to be bandits and armed with dangerous weapons are said to have attacked the staff quarters of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) at Kaduna airport.

It however said it not yet clear how the abductors gained access into the quarters but some staff of FAAN living in the quarters who managed to escape say some staff with their families have been taken away by the armed men.

Adding that,though the number of persons cannot be ascertained at the moment, some staff say about 11, including a staff of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agancy, NAMA, with his entire family and a wife and kid of a staff of the Nigeria Meteorological Agency, NiMET.

Two houses were said to have been attacked inside the quarters and they later moved to the airside of the airport.

An eye witnessed described the situation as bad and rough calling for prayers from all Nigerians for their safety as serious exchange of gun fire was currently ongoing.
