Eid-El-Fitr: Christian Cleric Felicitates With Muslims, Urges Use Of Ramadan Lessons For Peace

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA – As Muslims round the World commence the celebration of sallah which marks the end of this year’s Ramadan,,a Christian leader in Kaduna State, Pastor Yohanna Buru, Congratulates and Felicitates with the Muslims all over the world.

Buru,who is the General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and life Intervention Ministry, Sabon Tasha, gave a statement while congratulating Muslims for the successful completion of the 30days prayers and fasting.

The cleric called on Muslims to use lesson learned during the holy month in order to immensely strengthen good relationship and better understanding,r religions tolerance among different faith based organization in the country. He equally urged Muslim faithful to remember to donate and share their foods and other edible items to widows, prison inmates, destitute, IDPs kids/orphans and the poor masses that are in dear need of food at this season.

Pastor Buru congratulated Sheik Dahiru Bauchi,sheick Dr Ahmed gumi, Sheik Salihu Mai-Barota and all Nigerian Islamic scholars for the successful completion of this year’s Tafsir.

The cleric said that inspite of the corona virus pandemic, this year’s Ramadan season recorded huge success in view of the encouraging participation by various Christian organisations during Iftar period. ‘ I have participated in over 29 iftar interfaith Ramadan breakfast this year and the aims is to strengthen Christians-muslims relations to promote the culture of promoting peace,love and unity”

According to the cleric, this has enhanced inter-faith activities with other religious faithful toward strengthening peaceful co-existence among different faith base organizations.

“We congratulate you on the successful completion of the 30 days of Ramadan, the prayers and fasting you offered which include some special night prayers for peace and unity in Nigeria.

“May the Almighty God answer your prayers to keep us together in peace and harmony.

“The cleric urge to stay together in peace because we worship one God, we all believe in paradise and hell, we believe in the holy books which are Bible and Quran.

The cleric also called on Muslim and Christian preachers to pray for Nigeria military that are on peace mission across the globe,while calling on all Nigerian youth to support in building a better nation,. He then call on dialogue between government and all Nigerian bandits with boko Haram in order to end killing and abduction of school students for Ransom., Similarly pastor Joshua Ahmed barnawa appealed to Muslims to used to sallah holidays towards spreading peace and love
