ABU Alumni Association Diversifying Its Activities, Reviews Constitution

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA– The National Executive Council (NEC) of Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association has set up a committee to review the Association’s constitution.

The Alumni also announced its commitment to diversifying the activities of the association to enhance its membership mobilization drive through the upgrade of its website among other things

The President of Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association Worldwide Dr. Ibrahim Sani Khalil made this known during the 2nd National Consultative Council (NCC) meeting held in Abuja on 6/11/2021.

He said members are expected to make contribution for the review of the association’s constitution so that appropriate action will be taken at the 15th Annual General Assembly in February next year.

He further said that the National Executive Council of the alumni is diversifying the activities of the associations to enhance mobilisation of members through redesigning and re-developing of its website.

The President ABU Alumni also explained that they are working towards securing a plot in the Federal Capital Territory and completion of the Postgraduates students hostel so also secretariat’s building in Zaria.

According to him membership mobilization is critical to the alumni survival, the Alumni has concluded plan to tour to all states in the country.

Dr. Ibrahim Sani Khalil called on all members of the associations to contribute on these laudable programmes for the alma mater.

Speaking further he said that the National Executive Council paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of ABU Zaria Professor Kabir Bala and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Barr. Boss Maigida Mustafa as part of the efforts to reach their members.
