NEWSDAILYNIGERIA- Following the death of late Mallam Nuhu Bature (Agwom Bajju) and the former Chief of Naval Staff, Ishaya Ibrahim Iko, a Senator in the 6th senate of the Federal Republic, Caleb Zagi has condoled with the Bajju Nation, families of Late Admiral Ishaya Iko and Stephen Shekari over the demise of their loved ones.
The Senator also advocated for sober reflection and a total rededication to the Almighty on the part of Nigerians for societal development.
In a statement, Distinguished Senator Zagi also prayed for the repose of the deceased personalities souls and for God to grant their families and well wishers the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Sen Caleb Zagi who described the painful demise of the two distinguished southern Kaduna illustrious sons as a colossal loss to the area and indeed Kaduna state also enjoined people from the area to close their ranks in the interest of peace and development.
According to him,the late Agwam Bajju was a selfless leader and a bridge builder who saw southern Kaduna as his personal project, hence the need for all to emulate his unequal qualities.
Sen Caleb Zagi also described the late Ibrahim Iko as a goal getter who did southern Kaduna proud during his meritorious years of selfless service to the country.
The Kaduna State APC Chieftain further described the painful demise of the wife of the late Deputy Governor of Kaduna state,Mrs Rifkatu Irene Stephen Shekari who died last thursday as devastating and a collosal loss to the Shekari family and southern Kaduna.
He however, admonished the people of southern kaduna to always have a rethink and rededicate themselves towards serving God and humanity with a view to contributing positively towards the development of the area.
Senator Zagi prayed the Almighty God to heal the wounds of southern Kaduna, particularly on the various insecurity challenges bedevilling the area,stressing that the demise of the illustrious sons and daughter of southern Kaduna should serve as a lesson for purposeful synergy among the diverse ethnic, religious and political interest groups in the area,stressing that they deceased personalities lived and served humanity devoid of rancor.
Sen Caleb Zagi however, wished the people of Kaduna state a peaceful and prosperous 2022.
