NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Kaduna based tourism expert, Dr. Tobi Bernard Thomas, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Governor of Kaduna state, Dr. Uba Sani for their successful completion of one year in office.

This was as he hailed the duo of Tinubu and Gov. Sani for observing the Rule of Law and striving to maintain the integrity of the Nigeria and Kaduna state respectively.

Dr. Thomas stated this in a statement titled: ‘May 29; Demonstration of the collective wishes of the Nigerians’, and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Tuesday.

In the congratulatory message, the expert, said he is convinced that Nigerians would witness a higher level of development and prosperity in the years going by the action plans of the Tinubu led administration.

He added that the celebration of May 29, is a demonstration of the collective wishes of the Nigerian people for the entrenchment of democracy in the country, just as he urged Tinubu not to betray the trust of Nigerians.

The expert equally applauded Tinubu on his infrastructural development being witnessed in the country in the last one year under his administration, while also noting that the President is on the track on his economic reforms.

On tourism initiatives, Dr. Thomas urged President Tinubu to develop a module that will help to promote tourism activities in the country, adding that the most important economic feature of activities related to the tourism sector is that they contribute to three high-priority goals of developing countries: the generation of income, employment, and foreign-exchange earnings.

” It is on this note that I call on the president and the Kaduna state government to promote tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, that is capable of addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.” the expert said.

Dr. Thomas therefore called on Nigerians and the residents of Kaduna state to at all times give their supports to the governments, while also predicting a better future for the country.
