2023: Haruna Saeed Joins Kaduna Guber Race

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Former Accountant General of the state, Hon. Haruna Yunusa Saeed (AG) has formally declared his intention to join the Kaduna Governorship race under the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 

The governorship aspirant said having worked as the longest serving Accountant General (AG) of the state, an acedemia, grassroot person, and one who has given back to humanity, he’s has the capacity to rescue state from the bad leadership of the APC , with the assurance of prioritizing rural development in kaduna state,.

The former governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2019 general election made his declaration on Tuesday at the PDP state Secretariat, where he further commended the PDP for remaining firm and resolute since inception

According to him, the,  PDP is the only party that has added value to the lives of Nigerians

” PDP is party i helped to nurture. We are here to mark another history, I was here 16 years ago to declare my intention. PDP has remained solid and a strong party over 16 years that I left. it remain unshaken”.

He said that the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) has failed Nigerians, adding that this is the time to evict them out of power.

“It is necessary that we make a change; the change is needed at the state level and national level” 

  “our infrastructure are in shambles especially in the rural areas , people in the rural areas have not felt the impact of this government, they are been neglected”.he averred

“Today we have another opposition that has grown strong , they also have power both at the state and at the national”.he added

He also lamented the the state of insecurity bedevilling the state and country, saying that PDP is only party that has the leadership capacity to tackle insecurity.

He later called for a minute silence in honour of victims of spate of killings in the state, particularly, the recent Kaura LGA attack.

On his part, the state party Chairman, Hon Felix Hassan Hyat said that there is need for the members of his party to work together.

“There is need for us to come together to rescue power for our people. I believed that we will rescue our people this time. We are brothers and sisters; we are suppose to work together for the success of our great party”.

“There is need for our officials to go out and convince people”.He however called on the aspirant and others to do more work canvassing the support of the people at the grassroot, where bulk of the voters needed to emerge at the primaries reside

Hon Hyat also said ” we are not going to be intimidated by the candidate resources but by the acceptable of our people, let us work together as a party”.he reiterated
