2023: Obasanjo, Obi, Wike, Others Meet In London

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the presidential Candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi; the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, and others, thursday met in London.

Wike attended the meeting with his allies including Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State; Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and former Cross River State Governor, Donald Duke, among others.

While details of the meeting were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report; it was however learnt that it may not be unconnected to several negotiations ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

It was also gathered that a meeting between Wike and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, will also hold in London later today.

There are increasing fears in the PDP that the crisis in the party at the National level between Atiku and Wike may threaten its chances in the 2023 presidential elections, according to a PUNCH report.
