NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: A Governorship Candidate in the 2022 race to the Osun State Government House and Afenifere Chieftain, Arc. Goke Omigbodun, has observed that the 2023 Presidential elections in Nigeria will differ from recent bids for the Aso Rock Villa, that he explained as usually in the past been “the choice of the lesser of two evils”.

Arc. Omigbodun, on 2nd January 2023, in his contributions on the first edition in the New Year of popular radio program, Frank Talk on Rave FM 91.7, observed that what Nigerian voters are to decide in the February 2023 elections, is what he called “a choice between Obi The Good, Atiku The Bad and Tinubu The Ugly”.

Omigbodun expressed his belief that the final choice will be between the freely casted votes of Nigerian “voters of goodwill” for Peter Obi on the one hand, and whatever volume of vote merchandising that the other two major contenders may corner from poverty-stricken hapless vote-sellers.

The radio program monitored live, featured discussions on the letter of endorsement by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, encouraging Nigerian voters, especially the youths to vote for Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 2023 elections.

Arc. Goke Omigbodun was in July 2022, adjudged by many observers of the Osun State Gubernatorial Elections Debate as the then contender with the best manifesto and explanation of same, but surprisingly had votes far less than those of the winner and runners up when election results were declared. His explanation for his dismal performance in the elections is rooted in his choice not to buy votes then.
