Kaduna Guber: De- Registered Political Parties Root For Uba Sani 

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The amalgamation of De- registered political parties of Nigeria, Kaduna state chapter has endorsed the candidacy of Senator Uba Sani of the APC for the March 18, governorship election in the state.

The group while commiserating with the government and people of Kaduna state on the recent killings in some parts of the state, said their decision for the endorsement of the APC flagbearer, after wide consultations is bond out of his several records of monumental achievements over the years.

Addressing a press briefing at the NUJ press center in Kaduna on Tuesday,  the secretary and Chairman of the forum, Mohammed Sani Ahmed , Ambassador Matoh Yakubu Hyugene, further called on the people of the state to work for the victory of the APC candidate.

”  we the forum of Amalgamated political parties that were de-registered after the 2019 general elections; we are here today to raise critical salient issues relating to the forthcoming Governorship elections in Kaduna State on March 18th 2023 in relation to the candidature of the All-Progressive Congress APC stand bearer Senator Dr. Uba Sani. 

” Let us start by commiserating with the Government and people of Kaduna State on the unfortunate violence that led to the loss of life in some part of Zangon Kataf LGA in the past two days; we further commiserate with the people who lost their loved ones while we call on the security agencies to fish-out the perpetrators and brin them to justice quickly so that full normalcy can return to the area ahead of the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections on Saturday.

 ” Our forum is a platform for the promotion of good Governance, support to progressive ideals in a free democratic environment. Everyone of us you see here today has a name having been key participants in the last two election cycles; that is 2015 and 2019; we are therefore here riding on our resourcefulness, contact, great mobilization skills cutting across the entire 23 LGAs of the State, to deploy in deepening our democratic culture, adding flair to service delivery and political leadership. 

” We have before arriving at this juncture, consulted widely with our members and  network of stakeholders and opinion leaders; we appraised them of the clear record of achievement of distinguished Senator Dr. Uba Sani a civil society activist, a crusader for social justice, an award winning (ICPC certified) anti-corruption crusader and a high performing Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria. These wide-ranging consultations provided us the mandate to make the declaration of support in this press conference”

” We are disturbed by the negative signals coming from some political parties who are have decided to create a political gimmick they called “Muslim-Muslim” ticket- this phrase is a coinage of the opposition in Kaduna State, the APC only gave voice to our women who have been kept in the back-yard for long; and for the last 4 years the performance of Kaduna State women in Governance is clear for everyone to see. We state clearly that the combination of Sen Uba Sani and Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa, Balarabe, is a strategic strike at the political balancing act.” 

According to the group ” This political brinkmanship is giving the opposition a night mare because the strategy has provided Kaduna State critical development strides is unprecedented in the annals of the history of Kaduna State.”

” We therefore take a cursory look into some of the monumental achievements that stands Dr. Uba Sani heads and shoulders above  candidates of the other parties;  Human capital development 

Senator Uba Sani, is a mentor to many young people in Nigeria irrespective of tribe, ethnicity or religion- this mentorship was and still is (structured and un-structured) here is a small recount of the prominent ones amongst them.

” The Uba Sani foundation is a source of succor to many and indigent student through its scholarship scheme  

In the 7 LGAs that made up his senatorial zone, widows, orphans, youth groups, the physically challenged benefits from the benevolence of this gentleman

He led the struggle for the reduction of the interest payment on soft loans that he facilitated for Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion, ethnicity, or social status.  

” Dr. Uba Sani towers head and shoulders above all the other candidates for the Governorship of Kaduna State and we challenge them  to– SHOW WHAT THEY HAVE DONE! Infrastructural development

Sen. Uba Sani took on the gory state educational infrastructure in some of the rural LGAs of his constituency on assumption of office as senator by proposing a bill that has scaled all parliamentary processes to establish some critical educational infrastructure: 

An Act to Establish the Federal College of Education, Giwa, Kaduna State

Federal Medical Centre Rigassa, Kaduna State (Est., Etc.) Bill 2019 (SB.169)

Establishment of the Institute of Information and Communication Technology Kaduna South (Est., Etc.) Bill 2020 (SB.407)”

” The University of Technology Kaduna (Est, Etc.) Bill 2019 seeks to convert Kaduna State Polytechnic to a university

Economic development”

The forum said ” Senator Uba Sani sponsored and led the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act 2004 (Repeal and Re-Enactment) Bill 2019 (SB.178) that was signed into law to support greater economic development of business environment in the country. The Distinguished senator is currently ranked among the three senators with the most progressive bills in the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.

This endorsement comes with our full support to deploy our team to serve as canvassers, street captains, gate-keepers and anti-rigging squad to help ensure that the APC and Dr. Uba Sani emerge victorious in the Governorship election 2023 because he is the man for the job.
