Environment Minister Condoles With Govt, Victims’ Families Of Kaduna Drone Attack

…calls for immediate investigation

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Honourable Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal, has condoled with the families of the error drone attack in Tudun Biri Village of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

In a statement, personally signed and made available to pressmen, he described the incident as unfortunate which claimed many lives and left many others injured.

According to him, “It is with deepest shock and sadness that I am writing to express my profound sorrow and heartfelt condolences regarding the tragic bomb incident that transpired on Sunday, 3rd December 2023 in Tudun Biri Village of Igabi LGA of our dear state. The tragic incident will undoubtedly leave a deep scar on the affected communities and Government of Kaduna States in particular.

​”As I extend my deepest condolences to His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani, the entire Kaduna State people, my thoughts also are with the immediate families who have lost their loved ones and with all those grappling with the profound grief and anguish caused by this regrettable mistake. The pain experienced by the citizens of Kaduna state and the entire nation is unimaginable.

“​I recognize the challenges that Your Excellency’s administration faces in the aftermath of this mistaken drone strike and trust that every possible effort will be made to provide support to the affected families. It is my sincere hope that a thorough investigation will be conducted as directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to understand the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident, and measures will be taken to prevent future occurrences.

​”As the people of Kaduna state are going through this difficult time, I stand in solidarity with Your Excellency’s leadership and the citizens in the pursuit of justice and healing. May the affected families find strength and solace in the support of the community and may your administration guide the state towards a path of reconciliation and resilience.

​”While conveying my deepest sympathies to the Government and Citizens of Kaduna state, I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive the deceased and accept them and makes Jannah Firdous their final abode. I also pray that May Allah (SWT) give us the fortitude to bear this irreparable and great loss”, he said.
