NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Management of The Legacy Weekly Newspaper, has announced the death of its Editor, Muhammad Tasi’u Mada

The deceased died on Tuesday in a private hospital in Kano, after a prolonged illness and has been buried according to Islamic rites.


This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Managing Director Zamfara State Printing and Publishing Company Publishers of The Legacy Weekly Newspaper Alhaji Ahmad Sani Tsafe, on Wednesday.


A holder of Bachelors degree and post graduate diploma in Mass communication, Malam Tasi’u had worked with the The Path Newspaper Sokoto and held position of Director Press Affairs Government House Gusau.


He is survived by 2 wives,11 children and many grandchildren.


Meanwhile, Zamfara State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Comrade Mannir Haidara and the Managing Director, Zamfara State Media Corporation Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bunin Jangebe have condoled with family of the deceased.


They described death of Malam Tasi’u as a monumental loss.
