Forum Condemns Abduction Of 17 Persons In Kauru

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Leadership of Kauru local government Community Development Associations CDAs forum, has condemned the Kidnap of 17 people at Fadan Ruruma , in Kumana Chiefdom, Kauru local government area of Kaduna State.

The Forum expressed concern over the frequent attacks and kidnapping of innocent people by armed bandits in the area.

The forum in a statement by the public relations officer, Daniel D Achi said the activities of armed bandits is becoming unbearable as people are attacked and kidnapped in almost daily basis, without fear.

He said many people have deserted their houses with their farm produce yet to be harvested due to insecurity bedevilling the area.

The forum PRO who condemned the recent attack, which occurred this Thursday night in Fadan Ruruma in Kwassam Ward where seventeen people were kidnapped called on government to as a matter of urgency beef up security to safe guard lives and property of the people.

While praying for the quick release of those abducted, the statement recalled that last week one young man was killed and one injured in Akansa, Rumaya while many others were kidnapped and still in captivity.

Mr Daniel Achi further appealed to the Kaduna state government and other relevant authorities to expedite action in establishing a military strike force in Kauru and Kumana axis to complement the one in Damakasuwa, Chawai chiefdom.

He also called on government to device means of ending cross border attacks in Chawai chiefdom, especially communities neighbouring Basa Local Government Area of Plateau state.
