Covid-19:Cleric Calls For Fervent Prayers To End Pandemic

-As the world keeps searching for Covid-19 cure.

The General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and Life lntervention Fellowship Ministry Sabon Tasha-kaduna State North western Nigeria. Pstor Yohanna Buru has called on all African religious leaders ,Traditional Title holders and Holy Men of God across 54 black nations to immensely embarked on ceaseless prayers toward committing every thing to the hand of the Lord to save the universe against the spread of the virus.

He also called on the general public to equally abide by the principle of N.C.D.C on maintaining social distancing to avert the spread of the global corona virus pandemic that is ravaging the world .

According to him,as a result of increase infections and dead toll risen day by day due to the fast spread of the pandemic ,both developed and under-developed countries are now searching for the final cure of the virus, as such most African countries are poor and lack good health care systems ,and indeed not all african countries would be able to buy the drugs this year to prevent their people, hence the need to go back to God to halt the spread of the pandemic.

He made this call on Tuesday in Kaduna during an interview with Press saying, it’s only God that is protecting the people of Africa against the spread of the virus,stressing that the weather condition is another factor that is helping Africa against the spread of the virus.

“Prayers and fasting appears to be the most powerful tools in seeking God intervention to control every natural and artificial disaster created to disturbed peace stability in the world”

He appealed to Africans to be eating healthy food,and be fully committed to prayers, while calling on religious leaders to reduce large gathering in places of worship.

African environment is face many ecological challenges which if care is not taking could triggered the spread of the pandemic,and hence the need to to draw the attention of the public to always keep their environment clean ,while teaching their children’s how to wash their hands and regular used of face mask.

There is an increase in tropical diseases from forestry to cities as a result of continuous cutting down of trees,also the demand for charcoal is another factors.

“The world has offended God in many ways,hence the need to seek for his forgiveness”

He said,there is need for all the entire African nation to double-up through Prayers to the Lord for god intervene to stop the spread of the coronavirus all over the world.

Countries across Africa are hunting for deals to obtain COVID-19 vaccines at affordable prices, but their limited funds will cover less than half of their citizens.

“Only God can help African nations against the spread of the pandemic,hence the need for every one to always used facemask,washing of hands on regular bases”

The Christians clerics Pray for those who are sick, that they will have access to the care and treatment they need and to recovered very faster,he equally Pray for peace and perseverance amidst suffering.

Buru offer special prayers to those in isolation who are cut off from their normal routines and support systems.

Additionally , the cleric Pray for health workers, volunteers who are caring for those with COVID-19.

He Pray for their protection from the virus, for stamina during long and intense work hours, and for safe protocols to be observed in healthcare institutions in order to keep them protected. Pray for health workers to seek the Lord during this crisis

“Pray for grieving families who have lost loved ones to the coronavirus. Even as their hearts are breaking, pray they would know the nearness and comfort of the Holy Spirit”

He concluded by saying ,The COVID-19 pandemic is a stark reminder of our dependence on nature, and the economic costs and burden that come with failure to safeguard our animal, human and ecosystem health which are intrinsically linked.
