Veteran Journalist’s Daughter, Martina Takes Jacob As Husband

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA –  Former Miss Martina, daughter of a Kaduna Veteran Photojournalist and member of Nigeria Union of Journalists,(NUJ) Kaduna State council, Mr Nathaniel Jibrin, has taken Mr Jacob Enakhimion to be her lawfully wedded husband.

In a  celebrated wedding Solemnization Mass at St Andrew’s Catholic Church,Kakuri, Kaduna on Saturday , the couple exchanged marital vows before God, family members, friends, Colleagues and wellwishers among others

The celebrant of the Mass and Associate Parish Priest of St Andrew’s Kakuri, Rev. Fr. Romanus Ekene Okolie, admonished the couple to look beyond the euphoria of the wedding and brace up to overcome through God the inherent challenges of  Married life.

According to him, there’s nothing as a perfect marriage hence the need for the couple to See beyond the euphoria of the wedding day and ceremonies because ahead lies the proper thing called marriage which  are not without  its attendant problems and challenges.

” Wedding ends within some hours but marriage continues, my advice for them is that they should not be carried by the euphoria of the wedding and forget  ” because after all things   ” comes the main thing ( marriage)

” l pray and ask God that on this day after this wedding God will bless their union and grant them many children through Christ our Lord.

He earlier admonished the couple to try and love each as Christ loved the church and be careful in what they hear from people  adding that love  conquers all things no matter the difficulties one encounters.

The Groom, Mr Jacob Enakhimion, feeling fulfilled said it feels nice to be married to his heartthrob after being a bachelor for a while ” being a bachelor for a long time and now that my status has changed today am very happy about it”

He further described his wife saying ” she’s a nice lady, calm, she’s God  fearing and she is responsible ” he added

In the same vein, the wife, Mrs Martina Enakhimiom said how it feels to be married ”  in fact I feel so great” adding that her husband is ” an angel and a God-send, God actually sent him to me to make me happy and put smiles on my face ” she stressed

She further urged those trusting God for their day to be patient ” they should just wait patiently on the Lord, they should also not be idle but be prayerful, have faith and work and at the right time God will bring a perfect match for them”  she averred

On his part, the father of the Bride Elder Nathaniel Jibrin, on behalf of both parents,  said today is one of the best days in his life especially when one marries out his daughter to the person she loves ” l don’t have much to say than, to God be the glory and l am really happy

” l pray that my daughter and her husband will live peacefully in love and that God will bless them with children, long life and prosperity till death do them part ” he added
