NEWSDAILYNIGERIA– The Lagos state house of assembly has passed the bill on the Ban of open grazing in the state on Thursday

Similarly, the assembly also passed the bill on value added tax (VAT) during the plenary session. And the two bills were passed after unanimous votes by the lawmakers.

TheCable reports that the Speaker of the Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, further directed Olalekan Onafeko, the acting clerk, to transmit copies of the bills to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos governor, for assent.

The speaker while commending his colleagues for their passion to ensure the advancement of the state said “ I thank you all for this historic exercise,”

The assembly revealed that the bills scaled the second reading on Monday. having had two separate public hearings on the bills on Wednesday, after an interface with different interest groups
