NEWSDAILYNIGERIA-The English Premier League will return today after the FIFA international break, with the bottom leaders Arsenal in a fierce battle with Norwich City, to pick up their first win of the season.

Pointless and goalless after their opening three Premier League games, the gunners take on fellow strugglers Norwich City this afternoon (3:00pm Nigerian Time), knowing anything less than three points will crank up pressure to intolerable levels.

And Arteta is really starting to feel the heat after breaking the bank with a £150million summer spending spree only to find his side bottom of the table.

The Gunners will kick of the match with all their first team squad available for selections.

In another anticipated match by football fans, the same time with the Gunners, Manchester United will take on Newcastle United, as records breaker Cristiano Ronaldo, will make his second debut for the club, he left twelve years ago when he made a club record transfer to Real Madrid FC.

Speaking to the Media ahead of the clash as reported by The Sun UK, the Boss, Ole Gunnar Solakjear confirmed that the 36 year old will play some part in the Premier League clash with Newcastle,

“He’s had a good week with us here.” “He’ll definitely be on the pitch at some point, that’s for sure,” he said

In other fixtures of the day, league leaders Tottenham in a bit to extend their stay on the top, will travel to Crystal Palace in the first match of the day. While Leicester City will battle it our with Pep’s Manchester City in another cracker.

The last game of the day will see 4th place Chelsea FC lock horns with 11th place Aston Villa FC.

And the only game tomorrow will see 5th position Liverpool face Leeds United.
