NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has met with the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike and other governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP..

The meeting which took place in Rivers state is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after dumping the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.

This was disclosed via Twitter by the former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko. adding that the meeting was held monday night.

Others in attendance include, former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; former Governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwanbo; Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom; Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu; Mohammed Adoke and several others.

Sharing a photograph of the meeting, Mimiko wrote: “Nice to share some time last night with @GovWike @Donald_Duke @PeterObi @HEDankwambo @GovSamuelOrtom @GovernorIkpeazu, Mohammed Adoke SAN and many other friends.”

The purpose of the meeting remain unknown, as of the time of filing this report, but this may not be unconnected to political realignments by actors ahead of the 2023 general election.
