He is a committed and proactive Marine professional with very strong potential and enthusiasm to excel, Quick to assimilate new ideas, concepts, and cutting-edge technologies.

Dynamic. Captain Danladi has been involved in the operations and management of ships, and had coordinated and delivered projects in LNG Ship management and marine environment.

As a marine professional (Master Mariner), he has provided effective leadership, operations, and commercial expertise onboard the ship.

He has hence, coordinated various shipboard activities ranging from navigation, ship’s dry docking, cargo operation, inspection and audits, and training and development of young mariners.

Top among his contributions is the review of various marine operating procedures both onboard the ship and ashore. As a committed team player and a leader who is prepared to take ownership, he has gained experience in decision making, and analytical approach in solving complex problems and issues.

Danladi is blessed with knowledge of research and proficiency in the use of the following software: Special package for social science (SPSS), Data envelopment analysis (DEA), Malmquist productivity index, linear regression.

In his quest for more knowledge, he is interested in developing a career which combines marine operations, marine audit and offshore operations.

As a committed team player, he has worked in several establishments, where his ingenuity was brought to the fore.

They include; Chevron Nigeria Limited from April 2018 to Date as a Mooring Master/Pilot, where he served as Chevron’s representative onboard Export tankers, liaising with team members from different departments to achieve overall objectives of the company.

Between 2016 to April 2018, he had served as an Assistant Marine Operations Superintendent onboard NLNG Ship Management LTD (NSML), where his duties included ensuring that all the international and Flag State legal and regulatory requirements and company policies concerning ship operations, including cargo care, the safety of navigation, and the health and safety of personnel were always adhered to.

Prior to that, between 2013 to 2016, he served as Chief Officer at Nigeria LNG Ship Management Limited (NSML), where he was responsible for planning shipboard maintenance and developing long-term maintenance tasks onboard ship, ensuring that equipment needed were ordered in good time, as well as supervised all deck crew on the ship and was responsible for training of crew and officers, appraisal review, and mentorship.

Danladi rose to his present enviable height from a humble Industrial Training experience between 2003 to 2004 at Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG).

He climbed the ladder from being a Deck Cadet onboard crude oil tanker to his present enviable heights as a result of passion, dedication and zeal, which has so far paid off.

The young man couldn’t have made the marks without a sound education. The prestigious Baptist High School Kwoi, where he was between 1994 to 2000, was a positive influence to his career as he passed his NECO/GCE.from there in flying colours.

From there, between 2001 to 2003, he burnt the midnight candle to graduate with a National Diploma in Nautical Science (Upper credit level) from the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron.

Shortly after in 2004, he bagged a Certificate in Pre-onboard ship Familiarisation from Malaysia Maritime Academy.

Poised in attaining higher qualification, Danladi gained admission at Southampton Solent University in 2006, from where he graduated in 2009 with a Foundation Degree in Marine Operations (Distinction) to his credit.
