He made the call at the NUJ Kaduna maiden media parley with candidates of Political parties in the 2023 general elections in the state, where he also unveiled his three point agenda, of social Justice, economic and Human Capital Development.

” Kaduna is the second most indebted state after Lagos and if you look at all the indices of growth and development you will be amazed to see that we have never been at  this abysmal point,

” what we are looking for is a free and fair election in 2023,  that will usher in a new crop of leaders”

He said ” iinterms of resources human and otherwise, Kaduna has been blessed in every ramification, but interms of who leads and he’s able to manage more effectively, these resources that the  Almighty has blessed Kaduna state with

He said “PRP might not have the resources to muscle it and compete but then the effect of a wrong selection will not be felt by only the PRP, but will also be felt by the journalists in the state,

” I believe it’s a moral responsibility for each and every one of you, for those who are with us and those who are at their places of work that it does just lay in the hands of young politicians like us or the big ones that have billions to churn out,

“we want to have a different Kaduna come 2023, we want to have a different Nigeria come 2023. and a lot of these has to do with the role journalists play in the 5- 7 months before the election”
