Kadpoly Rector Lauds Academic Staff On World Teachers Day

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Rector, Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr Suleiman Umar, has congratulated the academic staff of the Institution in commemoration of World Teachers’ Day, 2024.

A statement by Auwal Ahmed Ibrahim, Goronyo, for Aliyu Suleiman, Chairman Media unit of the institution, disclosed this on Saturday.

” Every 5th of October is a World Teachers’ Day, a day of reflection and acknowledgement of sacrifices giving to teachers around the world on their selfless services of impacting knowledge and educating learners and students.

” The Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr. Suleiman Umar in his quest and passionate effort towards improving teachers’ welfare and collaboration with the academic staff of Kaduna Polytechnic is indeed appreciating every academic staff of the Institution towards the school landmark of excellence.

” Certainly, every teacher deserved appreciations and commendations towards sacrifices, resilience, commitment, and dedication in discharging the responsibilities of impacting sound and meaningful education to our dear esteemed students across as the school will never forget to appreciate the contributions of our hardworking staff.

” Quite alright, the efforts of our academic staff are parts of the successes of Kaduna Polytechnic and the administration of Dr. Suleiman Umar as in this year the Polytechnic has given unbiased opportunities to researchers through Tetfund intervention, such as in conferences, workshop, books publication and study sponsorship and pledged to do more. While this year, the Institution is witnessing numerous projects, the Polytechnic will continue to provide a conducive environment for academic staff and for all.

” Be assured that the Management and the new Governing Council team of the Institution will keep upholding the values, laws, ethics, and regulations of Kaduna Polytechnic in keeping faith on the mission and vision of the Institution for the progress of the school in equity and transparency.

” As Kaduna Polytechnic continues to strive towards common interest and purposive goal, the Management will keep working together with all academic unions of the school in fulfillment of maximum satisfaction for all instructors, technologists, and lectures of our valued Institution.

” The Rector, Dr. Suleiman Umar door is always open for advises, collaboration and ties in developing teachers’ capacity, while reflecting on this year’s theme of World Teachers’ on behalf of the Chairman Governing Council of Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr. Oluwakemi Penheiro, SAN, OFR and management, the Rector of Kaduna Polytechnic, Dr. Suleiman Umar, FRSS, MMAN, wishes all teachers of our excellent Institution happy World Teachers’ Day with kind request for unwavering support towards the progress of our Institution within the legal framework of the Polytechnic Act.” the statement added.
