Nigeria’s First Lady Launches Christmas Food Distribution In Kaduna

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: Nigeria’s First Lady Senator Oluremi Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has on Tuesday, flag- off the distribution of Christmas and New year food items to vulnerable families and persons in Kaduna.

The distribution of food items to Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum,( CNNPF) was, organized by the office of the First Lady in collaboration with the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political Affairs and other Matters.

Mrs Tinubu while commending the initiative by the forum, provided N100m support to the beneficiaries while the office of the Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs provided 48,000 bags of 25kg Rice to support the beneficiaries

The first lady noted that every Nigerian has a role to play in building the country, promoting peace for development and economic prosperity

She commended Alh. Masari, for keeping the flag of support to vulnerable persons flying, reflecting a deep understanding of inclusion, compassion and providing crucial support for Nigerians.

The event attracted APC Governors of Kaduna state, Uba Sani, Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue state, Yobe state Governor, Hon. (Dr.) Mai Mala Buni and APC National Chairman, and APC  stalwarts among others.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, said the gesture was a show of love that gives a true sense of belonging to Nigerians especially vulnerable persons

The chairman also commended Kaduna state Governor, Sen. Uba Sani for preaching and entrenching love and peaceful coexistence in Kaduna state.

Similarly, Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani while describing the distribution of food items at this season of Christmas, as a lifting spirit and a share of love with the poor and vulnerable who need it most.

The Governor also commended the SSA Political and other Matters, Alh. Kabiru Masari for lifting others and renewing their hope for prosperity.

“The show of love and support at this moment exemplifies the true virtue of love and compassion to uplift the weak, vulnerable, and service to humanity” Sani said.

According to National Chairman Northern Christian Youth Professionals, Mr Isaac Abrack, “What we are celebrating today is the government of inclusion, is the government of unity, is the government of peace  and as such, we call on every one to use this Christmas period, this Christmas season to unite with their Muslim brothers especially in the face of this Christian genocide issue, we must show the International community, that the northern Nigeria  particularly, that Christians and Muslims are united”
