El-rufai, 2 Other Names Missing As Senate Confirms 45 Ministerial Nominees

NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The Senate has confirmed 45 nominees out of the 48 Ministerial nominations sent to it, by President Bola Tinubu.

Those whose names is missing in list of cleared nominees are Nasir El Rufai from Kaduna State ,Abubakar Danladi from Taraba State, and Stella Okotete from Delta State.

While those cleared include Sen.Abubakar Kyari (Borno ), Abubakar Momoh (Edo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Prof. Joseph Utsev (Benue), Sen. John Enoh (Cross River).

Others include Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Ondo), Dr Betta Edu (Cross River) Imaan Sulaiman (Nasarawa), Ahmed Dangiwa (Katsina), Uche Nnaji (Enugu),

“Bello Muhammad (Sokoto), Mohammed Badaru (Jigawa), Yusuf Tuggar (Bauchi), Uju-Ken Ohaneye (Anambra).

“Abdullahi Gwarzo (Kano), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Tunji Alausa ( Lagos), Adegboyega Oyetola (Osun), Uba Ahmadu (Taraba).

“Lola John (Lagos), Dr Isiak Salako(Ogun), Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri (Bayelsa), Dr Yusuf Sununu (Kebbi), Prof. Tahir Mamman (Adamawa), Zaphaniah Jisalo (FCT), Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe), Dr. Bosun Tijjani (Ogun).

Meanwhile the nomination of Festus Keyamo was confirmed following his apologies to the lawmakers for the allegation he leveled against the National Assembly members. on the issue of N5 billiion naira meant for the implementation of 774,000 Special Public Works Programme.
