NEWSDAILYNIGERIA: The presidency has awarded House of Representatives member, representing Zango Kataf/ Jaba Federal Constituency, Hon Amos Gwamna Magaji and other distinguished Nigerians.

A statement by the Head of Projects to the Member , Engr Seth Bakut on Tuesday, said Hon Magaji is a recipient of ” legislative Champion for Public Health Resilience”

” Hon. Dr.Amos Gwamna Abel Magaji , Member Representing Zango/Jaba and Chairman House Committee on Healthcare Services has distinguished himself in the Health sector.

” Today, the Presidency in collaboration with Global Health Advocacy Incubator, has recognized his contribution by awarding him as “Legislative Champion for Public Health Resilience” this morning at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

” Others awarded includes in no particular order:
1) Prof. Muhammed Ali pate- Coordinating Minister of Health
2)Rt. Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu- Minister of state for Humanitarian Affairs & poverty Reduction
3) Dist. Sen Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo- Chair, Senate committee on Health (secondary and primary).
4) Dist. Sen Dr. Tony Nwoye- Dep. Senate Chair on Primary Healthcare and disease control.
5) Dist. Sen Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe- Chair, Senate Committee on Health (secondary and primary) 9th Assembly.
6) Dist. Sen Dr. Chukwuka Utazi- Chair, Senate Committee on Healthcare and communicable diseases 9th Assembly.
7) Hon. Chief Dr. Regina Akume- Chair, House Committee on Food and Drugs control.
